Ukay fuels are conscious of the pressures on the environment and are dedicated to lowering emissions and creating a greener future through our actions. This is why we have chosen for our fleet to be powered by HVO, a fossil free diesel alternative.
HVO is made from 100% raw materials and can reduce emissions by as much as 90%, keeping your villages, towns and cities cleaner. Additionally, we plan our routes daily to optimise our drivers journeys and keep travel to a minimum. Keeping our customers fully informed of their delivery schedule reduces wasted journeys and ensures that our carbon footprint is kept to a minimum.
According to experts, over 85 million tons of paper is wasted each year. Ukay fuels are doing our best to combat this and reduce our paper usage.
This is why we are currently trialling e-tickets in our tankers. Once the technology has been perfected, we are planning to digitalise 100% of our tickets to further reduce our environmental impact.
Our deliveries are powered by HVO
ecokero is an advanced home heating oil product which is completely exclusive to Ukay fuels. It has been specifically developed to offer substantial savings over that of standard kerosene. ecokero helps your boiler operate as its optimum efficiency, and both reduces your annual maintenance costs and the resulting deposit of harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, giving you a cleaner, greener, longer lasting burn.

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil is a fossil free, paraffinic fuel made from 100% raw materials.
A more sustainable, high quality fuel, that is suitable for all diesel-powered vehicles and industrial powered generators. Produced from waste fats and vegetable oils, the fats are transformed into biofuel by hydrogenation.
HVO sees NOx levels reduced by up to 30% and can reduce emissions by as much as 90%.
Ukay fuels are proud to announce our new partnership with Shell and introduce two exciting products. GTL D and GTL G are a diesel and gas oil alternative displaying a cleaner-burn and improving combustion properties over conventional crude oil-based diesel.
GTL reduces Nox emissions by up to 25% and particulate emissions by as much as 38%. This helps to support companies looking to meet local environmental regulations and reduce their carbon footprint.
